Private Martial Arts Training in Trussville

One coach, one student, one goal.

An hour built entirely around one person, on a schedule that works for you. For the kid who needs to catch up, the competitor prepping for a test, and the adult whose life does not fit our class times.

The difference

In a class, you get great coaching. In a private, you get all of it.

Group classes are the heart of this school and they work. But a coach in a room of twenty is dividing attention twenty ways, and some problems do not get solved that way.

A private is sixty minutes aimed at one person. Your grip is wrong, we fix it today. Your kid freezes when the pressure comes, we work only on that. You want a specific submission by spring, we build backward from it.

Most people do not need privates forever. They need them at a moment: starting out, stuck at a plateau, or preparing for something specific. Then they go back to the room stronger.

Who books these

Five people who walk in every month.

If one of these sounds like you, a private is probably the fastest way forward.

Profile 01The nervous beginner
"I want to train, but walking into a room full of people who already know what they are doing sounds like my nightmare."
What we doA few privates first. You learn the basics, the etiquette, and what to expect, so your first group class feels like your fifth. Most people need two or three, not twenty.
Profile 02The kid who is behind
"My kid loves it but he is a step behind the others and I can see it starting to bother him."
What we doTargeted one on one time on exactly what he is missing. Kids catch up faster than parents expect, and the confidence usually arrives before the skill does.
Profile 03The competitor, or the one testing
"I have a tournament coming, or a belt test, and I need to sharpen a specific part of my game rather than do the general class again."
What we doGame planning, drilling your positions, and honest work on the holes you would rather not look at. If you are preparing for rank, we drill exactly what the test asks for until it is automatic.
Profile 04The one who cannot make class
"I want to train, but between my job and the kids, I am never free when your classes actually run."
What we doWe book around your schedule instead of ours. Early, late, or midday, if a coach is free, you can train. This is the single most common reason people book privates, and it is the easiest problem we solve.
Profile 05The stuck member
"I have been training a year and I feel like I stopped improving four months ago."
What we doA coach watches only you for an hour and tells you the truth. Plateaus are almost always one or two fixable habits, and you cannot see your own.
How it works

Booking one is simple.

Tell us the goal

Message us with who is training and what you are trying to fix. Be specific. The more we know, the less time we spend figuring it out on your hour.

We match the coach

We pair you with the instructor who fits the goal, and find a time that works around your schedule, not ours.

You train

Sixty minutes, one on one, on the thing you actually came for. You will leave knowing exactly what to work on next.

Privates are not a shortcut. They are a magnifying glass.

Nobody gets good without mat time in a real room. What a private does is find the thing costing you six months, and take it off the table in an hour.

Questions

What people ask first.

What times can I book?
We work around your schedule rather than a fixed class timetable. Early mornings, midday, and evenings are all possible depending on the coach. Tell us the windows that work for you and we will find one.
Do I have to be a member to book a private?
No. Plenty of people take privates before they ever join a class, and some use them as their only training. If you want to join classes later, the door is open.
How much do privates cost?
Pricing depends on the coach and how many sessions you book, since a package works differently than a one off. Message us with your goal and we will give you a straight number.
How many should I book?
Most people need fewer than they think. Two or three often solves a specific problem. We will tell you honestly if we do not think you need more, because selling you sessions you do not need is a bad way to run a school.
Can my kid and I train together?
Yes. Semi private sessions for a parent and child, or two friends, are one of our favorite things to run. Ask when you reach out.
Which martial art can I do privately?
MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and kickboxing. If you are not sure which fits your goal, tell us the goal and we will tell you the art.
